President and Senior Forester Benjamin Myers founded Panther Creek Forestry in 2002. Since that time he has worked in all areas of the industry, including field forester, timber buyer, logger, and consulting forester. Panther Creek became a full service forestry consulting firm in 2008.
Emily Stefanick has a passion for communication, which, paired with her love of forestry, makes her role as Project Manager a real treat. She takes pride in the planning, ordering, and execution of every job that rolls through the PCF office. From the first phone call to the delivery of an invoice, Emily specializes in asking the right questions to give clients what they need. She currently serves on the Tennessee State Technical Advisory Committee of the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service and has contributed greatly to the Tennessee Forestry Association over the past 7 years. When asked what she does at Panther Creek, Emily sums it up like this: “I take our foresters’ excellent field work and turn it into an excellent product for the client.” Emily also specializes in land sales for both recreational and investment-driven clients. When she’s not in the office or the field, Emily loves running, acting, cooking, trivia with her husband, and keeping up with her six kiddos. She plans on sleeping when she retires.
Caleb received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a major in Watershed Science and minors in wildlife and fisheries management. He joined the Panther Creek team in 2020 and has become an active member of American Tree Farm System, Tennessee Forestry Association, TN Prescribed Fire Council, and is a certified Pesticide Applicator with the State of Tennessee and a certified Technical Service Provider with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service. He is an 11th generation Tennessean and enjoys reading, hunting, cooking, and caving. His hobbies have recently expanded to include gardening and forestry on his own property in Cannon County.
Hutchins joined Panther Creek Forestry in 2021 as an intern while completing his Bachelor of Science in Forestry from The University of the South. He moved into a full-time field forester position after graduation in May of 2022 and has since taken on the role of Field Operations Supervisor. Hutchins is a certified Pesticide Applicator with the TN Department of Agriculture and a certified Burn Boss. He is active in the Society of American Foresters and the Tennessee Forestry Association, and works closely with the Natural Resources Conservation Service throughout the state. Hutchins enjoys fly fishing in Collins River and live music.
Ashley holds a Bachelor's of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University with a major in Psychology and minors in Religious Studies and Family & Consumer Sciences. Prior to her role as Project Coordinator she worked as a Human Resources Analyst in the health services industry. Ashley grew up in the world of agriculture, heavily involved in regional 4-H programs, showing sheep and pigs, and working on her family's livestock farm in Lascassas, Tennessee. Ashley loves the outdoors, traveling, yoga, sports and spending time with her family. Her family lives on a farm in Viola, Tennessee, and Ashley is passionate about raising well-rounded children with a love for agriculture and the outdoors. She gets great satisfaction from her work at Panther Creek, helping forestland owners improve their property and support agriculture in our state.
Campbell has been with Panther Creek Forestry since 2023, specializing in mapping and data processing. A dedicated student at Warren County High School, he is set to graduate in 2026 and plans to pursue an advanced degree at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Beyond his academic and professional interests, Campbell has been an active member of the Pioneer Pride Band for five years and performs in multiple select jazz ensembles. He also has a strong background in web development, having earned a certification in responsive web design. In addition to his studies and music, he independently designs and develops websites for clients, Outside of work and academics, Campbell is dedicated to personal fitness like boxing and strength training,
